KEY SPECIES
IN THIS AREA
Plas Efenechtyd offers a superb base from which
to explore the varied habitats of North Wales. No matter what
time of year you visit you cannot help but be entertained by the
diversity of bird life in the area, from the courtship displays
of the black grouse in spring to wheeling swarms of starlings
in the depths of winter. Even within the confines of the cottage
garden you can enjoy great views of marsh tits year round whilst
the summer brings the return of resplendent redstarts and breeding
curlews in the surrounding fields. This page tries to cover the
main species and areas of interest that are within an easy drive
of our bed and breakfast.
