Breakfast at Plas Efenychtyd
Cottage is a great way to start the day. We use locally produced,
quality ingredients, carefully prepared and cooked and served
up in our dining room (above).
Our bread is homemade, as is the granola and the
marmalade and jams. Sausages and bacon come from Jones the Butcher
(no, really!) in Ruthin and the free range eggs are from our own
free range hens. Butter and milk are, of course, Welsh.
Unfortunately, we can't yet find Welsh pineapples
or melons but our fresh fruit bowl is delicious. We do provide
homegrown soft fruit in season (strawberries, raspberries and
plums if the birds don't get them first).
Don't fancy the traditional breakfast? Try our rather
fabulous homemade salmon fishcakes with fried mushrooms and tomatoes.
Of course, if you have special dietary needs, we'll
do our best to provide you with suitable alternatives.
The full menu is shown here.
Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 9.00 am weekdays, 8.00 and 9.30 am weekends. If you let us know in advance we can make special arrangements, if needed.
