Motorcycling:
North Wales is renowned for its excellent roads
and stunning scenery. Plas Efenechtyd Cottage nestles in the heart
of this fabulous biking country. For the sportsbike or sportstourer
riders there is the famous Horseshoe Pass, the less famous but
possibly more challenging Nant Y Garth Pass, the Ruthin to Cerrigydrudion
road (above on youtube - a high speed tour along our main road.
Our turn off is 45 seconds into the video) and numerous others.
Classic bikers can enjoy the less frenetic delights of sinuous
back roads through Clocaenog Forest or over the mountains to Bala.
We can help you plan the best local routes, suggest
great places to stop for food or just to enjoy the view. North
Wales is motoring heaven - we can help you get the best out of
it.
We have a well equipped garage and workshop for
any necessary running repairs and safe overnight storage. Your
bike will be as safely tucked up for the night as you will be!
We also know how to cope with wet bikers’ clothing should you
be unlucky enough to come across one of our rare showers.
If you haven't been here yet - book now for a real
treat.

Motoring:
If you’re visiting North Wales for a holiday or
short break, there are a few ‘must sees’ while you’re here. Wales
is famous for mountains, castles and lakes.
We’ll suggest routes that can show you the best
of North Wales and keep you away from the worst of the traffic
jams that can build up in peak periods. Examples of routes are
on my Blog
Classic car owners love Wales and Welsh roads love classic cars. Less traffic to contend with and what there is tends to move fairly slowly. It’s motoring as it used to be (but with better tea shops).
