Whether it's a family day out of gentle cycling or something more challenging, there are trails nearby to suit you.

We can provide a secure garage for your bike, a great breakfast to start your day and a comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep. Packed lunches available on request.

Hannah and John who stayed with us in November 2007 had this to say:

"Having visited the Peaks and the Lakes with our bikes earlier this year, we were impressed with what North Wales had to offer. Coed Llandegla Forest really is a fun day out on the bikes, it has a variety of routes for different skill levels. A tasty slice of cake from the visitors centre upon finishing and knowing there's a comfortable bed to rest those tired legs back at the B&B ends the day in a good way. We look forward to visiting again."

THE DAVID LLOYD CHALLENGE

Dave Lloyd MEGA Challenge is held every summer in north Wales and starts in Ruthin (2 miles from here). It is rated as one of the hardest one-day cyclosportives in the UK by Cyclosport.org.

It offers 3 routes: the 150 mile ‘MEGA’ route, the 'MIDI' route at 100 miles and the ‘MINI’ route of 70 miles.

These routes take in all or some of these famous climbs: The Shelf, Horse Shoe Pass, Worlds End, Moel Arthur, The Cerrig "Road to Hell", Snowdonia, Bwlch-y-Groes,  the "Stingers" and Bwlch Penbarass.
